Following another successful year here at Cooper Freer we have following positions that we are looking to fill in the New Year


Compressed Air Service Engineer 

Cooper Freer Ltd requires a general/industrial service engineer, with either mechanical or electrical bias, to join an expanding compressed air service team operating out of its busy Midland Centre.  The main duties of the role is to carry out routine planned maintenance on air compressors, systems and ancillary products (oil water separator’s / filters / dryers), attend equipment breakdowns if they occur, diagnose faults, identify parts required and effect any repairs to the customers satisfaction as quickly and efficiently as possible.  Ideally, the successful applicant should have previous experience in compressed air or related industries. With the ability to work on their own initiative and to demonstrate the customer care skills necessary to service Cooper Freer’s established customer database, the applicant will have good communication skills and the ability to also work as part of a team with a flexible approach to working hours.

 Full clean driving license essential.



Cooper Freer, the compressed air people based in Leicester, have a vacancy for a technical sales representative to market the company and its services

The candidate must be enthusiastic, willing to learn and progress in a competitive market place. A knowledge of compressed air systems and/or pneumatics would be an advantage although full training will be given

You must be able to work to achieve targets and to source new business, and also be able to develop and enhance the on going business relationship with our existing customers

You will be a team player with excellent communication skills, and have the confidence to work effectively in all areas of the business

Full clean driving license essential


Junior Service/Stores Person

An opportunity has arisen at Cooper Freer, the compressed air people, based in Leicester for a junior service/stores person to assist our service and sales teams as required both in our workshop and at our customers sites

An aptitude for mechanical/electrical engineering and/or previous experience of stock control and computer systems would be advantageous, however in-house training will be given

The applicant will have good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
