Since the recession in the early 1980’s Cooper Freer Limited saw a gap in the market place that would allows us to develop one of the country’s largest fleet of air compressors & ancillary equipment for hire.
With many companies feeling the bite of recession they could not afford to service or make costly repairs to aging equipment let alone the cost of replacing with new. At this point and being in a positive place we developed the idea of supplying the latest compressed air equipment on long term hire contracts that included all repairs and servicing. This allowed many of our clients and indeed new start up business the opportunity to install the latest compressed air plants with the added benefit of tax allowances with no initial outlay. This has continued to grow over the years and we now have more than 150 companies on long term fixed price hire contracts.
One question is always what happens if my business grows and I require more air? The simple answer is your equipment is removed and replaced with larger equipment and the monthly figure adjusted accordingly. Many of our clients have also seen their compressed air plant upgraded over the years to include the latest technology equipment such as variable speed drive compressors again with the monthly outlay adjusted it can also be offset against running costs saved and in some instances clients are actually having free compressed air throughout the year.
